A Vatican official is calling on the international community to stop a potential genocide in Iraq and Syria.

As CBN News has reported for months, the Islamic State army is targeting Christians and other religious minorities, forcing them to leave, convert or die.

He also said countries should not give visas to Christians seeking to leave the region.
