Russell Moore: Border Crisis More Than Politics

The federal government estimates that 90,000 unaccompanied immigrant children will cross the border on their own this year. That's 10 times the number from just a few years ago.

The trek is dangerous with Mexican drug cartels quick to assault, kill or traffic vulnerable children and women.

How can Christians balance protecting the borders with showing compassion to those who are here? Dr. Russell Moore, president of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, went to the border where he toured some of the detention facilities.
